Digital Marketing Consultant

Octane Press is a design-conscious and highly visual book publisher for machine enthusiasts. We are looking for a digital marketing expert to optimize our google ads and build a custom data studio dashboard to easily visualize and track analytics. Help us understand what the numbers mean and how we can use them to increase conversions (mainly sales of our books). How is our SEO position and is SEM the right thing for us? We’d like an ongoing relationship where we can learn and apply as we go, contracting as needed.

Copyeditors

Our books all go out to freelance copy editors. We have a great core of people doing this and would like a few more when the workload gets heavy. You must intimately understand grammar, punctuation, and have experience working with Style guides. Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style and our topic areas are helpful. Minimum requirements are a four-year degree and professional experience editing text for publication. To apply, send 2-3 samples of your editing work as a MS Word file with tracked changes shown along with a cover letter and resume.
 
Proofreaders
We need a few more eagle-eyed proofers who can catch typos, punctuation, and minor grammatical errors found in final book pages. Minimum requirements are a four-year degree and professional experience proofing text for publication.
