Introduced in 1948, the Model C was the replacement for the Model B. It was larger and heavier than the Model B, but used the same narrow front end and was designed to be a two-row cultivator. The Model C no longer used the dropped-rear drive of the Model A and B. Instead, the Model C used larger rear wheels and a straight axle like those introduced on the F-12 and used on the Model H and M. The white demonstrators are 1950-only models. They were painted white by the factory, and available for farmers to borrow to test the new model. When they were sold, the dealership would repaint the tractors red once the white paint tarnished. The only way to know that a 1950 was used a demonstrator is to uncover the faded white paint underneath the red. This one is owned by Fred Vergin of Loretto, Minnesota.
